Open Your Farm

Beef and lamb farm visits aims to provide resources and ideas releated to the production of beef and lamb for anyone wishing to open their farm up to the public.

Open Farm Sunday 13th June 2010

This June, EBLEX will be sponsoring Open Farm Sunday. As part of our support we are providing our levy payers with extra resources from EBLEX with particular ideas and information for farms involved in the production of beef and lamb.

If you would like some extra support from EBLEX then please go to our resource pack page, fill in your details and we will send out a resource pack direct to your door.

The pack will contain childrens' worksheets, recipe ideas, information on beef cattle and sheep and will be sent out at the end of May.

We will also have content available for download on our downloads page which you will be able to use for reference, or print out as handouts for your open farm day.

The support blog will give updates on what has been uplodaded to the site and will allow you to contact us about what more we can do to support farmers who are inviting the puclic onto their farms to see how farming works. You will be able to ask questions and see other people's questions and answers.

If you are a veteran of open farm days, please share your experiences and ideas on the support blog to help anyone less experienced to bring their open farm day to life.
