Open Your Farm

Beef and lamb farm visits aims to provide resources and ideas releated to the production of beef and lamb for anyone wishing to open their farm up to the public.

Open Farm Sunday 17th June 2012 !

This year's beef and lamb packs are being redeveloped with new characters, posters, quizzes, recipes and information about beef and sheep farming that will link to our childrens' website pages for even more information about beef and sheep and farming. As soon as they are available, we will post the pictures up here, but until then all of the usual downloads are available to you. The registration form is available on the resources page, so put your name down for one of our new interactive packs.

This site is up year-round to provide downloadable information to make sure that all of your farm visits are effective. All content  is available for download on our downloads page which you will be able to use for reference, or print out as handouts for any open farm day.

The support blog will give updates on what has been uplodaded to the site and will allow you to contact us about what more we can do to support farmers who are inviting the puclic onto their farms to see how farming works. You will be able to ask questions and see other people's questions and answers.

If you are a veteran of open farm days, please share your experiences and ideas on the support blog to help anyone less experienced to bring their open farm day to life.
